Sound Bath
A sound bath uses both ritual and a variety of instruments to take you on a journey through different textures of sound and vibration. Depending on the wishes of the group, we might start the session with vocalisation techniques designed to open ourselves up and connect us to our bodies and the other people in the group. Bamboo leaves or the Ocean drum are used to evoke our connection with the natural elements of air and water. The drum is ancestral and grounding, resonating with the with the thousands of generations that have preceded us.
The Tibetan bowls, the flute and the Sanula, delight and transport us on flights of the imagination. In the process we can experience deep relaxation and the shedding of stress and tension assisting the process of achieving somatic re-patterning, or the adoption of different and more wholesome patterns of thinking and behaving.
